Automatic Meteorological and Hydrological Stations

Complete solutions for all types of field Stations and Monitoring Networks for Meteorology and Hydrology, with global coverage real-time data and image transmission.

Automatic Hydro-Meteorological Stations

Since 1974, GEONICA has been designing, manufacturing and integrating complete measurement stations and networks for very different applications, particularly for the Hydro-Meteorological sector.

Connectivity
The new 4000 series METEODATA and HYDRODATA remote measurement stations are characterized by their advanced electronic technology as well as their multiple connectivity options through very different channels, such as:

  • GSM, GPRS, 2.5G/3G/4G/5G.
  • Wi-Fi, Radio Enlace,WiMAX, Fiber Optic.
  • Ethernet, RS-232, RS-485, USB.
  • Satellite (Inmarsat, Thuraya, Iidium, etc.)

Very low power consumption
The new Dataloggers GEONICA 4000 series, have been designed for minimum energy consumption, which allows totally autonomous operation based on their internal batteries and charge regulator, plus an external solar panel. Datalogger 4000 series is the perfect solution for any application, since it can be installed at unattended remote locations without the possibility of connection to the electrical network.

Wide availability of sensors
Datalogger GEONICA 4000 series allow the connection of any type of meteorological or hydrological sensor, offering also a very interesting option, such as the possibility of integrating one or more image cameras for offering panoramic views of the environment and details of the installation, as well as , for example, assessing the degree of visibility in a seaport, the presence of fog on a road, the water level of a river, a flood zone or any other scenario of interest.

Management software: Geo-DataView
All GEONICA meteorological and hydrological stations and networks are managed by means of the new Geo-DataView software package, characterized by its great operability and flexibility. This allows the design of mixed wireless networks for various applications, with real-time intercommunication and accessibility to the data collected by the remote stations, from anywhere and any type of device with connection to Internet.
