The DATACAR system is a specific solution for counting and classifying vehicles, and also for monitoring vehicle speeds. It is designed to detect, track, and classify all roadway traffic (multi-lane traffic detector) using the latest RADAR technology and can be used for permanent or temporary installations.

DATACAR is made up of autonomous measurement stations based on the METEODATA datalogger in addition to a multi-lane vehicle detector. It transmits data to a Central Station in real-time, providing comprehensive traffic information on the entire road network of a country or region, including primary and secondary roads.
