WATERQUAL-OL System for continuous on-line water quality monitoring with real-time data transmission.


The WATERQUAL-OL water quality monitoring and analysis system operates continuously installed as a fixed station, recording all measurements and transmitting data in real time through the GPRS / 3G / 4G cellular network, INMARSAT satellite or via Radio, to a Data Reception Center. It can also be connected to a local SCADA system by means of an Ethernet / Fiber Optic link.

With the WATERQUAL-OL system, it is possible to establish national, regional or local measurement networks to monitor the quality of surface waters or discharges into rivers and lakes from industrial plants or wastewater treatment plants.

It also allows the collection of information in order to design specific prevention programs, based on the characterization of the waters thus obtained, as well as to identify changes or trends in water quality over time, or to respond to emergencies, such as accidental spills.
