GEONICA has developed the SAFE PORT system, integrating the most advanced oceanographic and weather instruments with telecommunications technology, to create an enormously valuable tool for Port Authorities responsible for managing ports, as well as for all possible users of the infrastructure, such as fishing vessels, yachts, pleasure boats, and all types of ships.

An integrated AIS AtoN (Aids to Navigation) transponder can be added to the stations in the SAFE PORT system. This transponder provides accurate, real-time information from the navigational aids to all vessels and shore stations within its range.
