The main purpose of our HYDROMET system is to measure different hydrological parameters such as precipitation, runoff, flow, water level and speed, etc. This is done by specific sensors connected to our HYDRODATA remote data acquisition and transmission unit. Data can be transmitted by GPRS/3G/4G point-to-point / point-to-multipoint, radio or satellite (INMARSAT BGAN), with mixed and/or redundant solutions possible.

Thanks to the very low power consumption of GEONICA’s solutions, our automatic hydrological stations can be installed in remote, unattended sites, powered by internal batteries and a charge controller, all installed in a weatherproof enclosure, plus a small external solar panel.
